Registration for Religious Education (RE) classes is now open through August 19, 2025. Only classes with an available volunteer catechist will be open for registration; additional classes will open throughout the summer as additional parish members volunteer to teach. The registration fee is $85 per child. No child is denied participation in the program for inability to pay the fee; those needing financial aid should contact Samantha Welsh, Director of Religious Education.
Religious Education registration is available online through the RE website at allsaintsreligiouseducation.org.
The registration deadline is August 19, 2025.
Please note that only classes with an available volunteer catechist are open. Additional classes will open throughout the summer as additional parish members volunteer to teach. Open classes are listed on the RE website.
- To register a child for RE classes, families must be active, registered parish members living in the areas accepted for parish registrations by Tuesday, August 12. The parish office inactivates members who have moved or for whom it has no record of activity.
- Parish registration is different from RE registration.
- It takes several days to process parish registration before you may register for RE.
- We are sorry but we cannot accommodate those from neighboring parishes who may wish to register at All Saints for RE classes.
RE Volunteers
The Religious Education Office needs volunteers to teach religious education classes. Without volunteers now, we cannot open classes. If you feel called to volunteer as a catechist to grades K through 12, please contact Samantha Welsh in the RE Office (703-393-2142).
Adults Becoming Catholic
In the Catholic Church, adults who want to become Catholic or complete the sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Communion, Confirmation) join a program called the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults. Participants in the program meet weekly for instruction, prayer, and sharing of the Scriptures. If you or someone you know is interested in joining this program, please contact Samantha Welsh in the Religious Education Office (703-393-2142).
